About This Workshop

Due to the current health concerns, all GA programs will temporarily be held online - including this one.

Registered participants will be notified 24 hours in advance with information on how to log in to the Zoom meeting room and other tools needed for the workshop. Registration will close 2 hours prior to the start time in order to allow participants ample opportunity to have the technology enabled.

People often think of branding as just a logo, business cards, and their website. But a brand is so much more than that. In today’s saturated digital market your branding can be used as a strategy in helping you stand out from the crowd. By personifying your brand and determining your unique selling point, vision, core values, and your target customers, you will find innovative ways to connect with your customers. You'll walk away with clarity on how to develop a brand that attracts. Hear how successful companies have built their brands and use the frameworks within the workshop to create your own brand strategy on the day.

In this workshop you will learn: •How to create a clear vision to communicate your brand •How to position your brand in the marketplace •How to define your target audience •How to ensure consistency with your brand to build customer engagement

Preparation

Please come to the workshop with a laptop and notepad and pen. Participants will gain the most from this workshop if they have a clear idea of their vision for their future, and a basic understanding of their market and ideal customer, however, all participants will take away an understanding of the frameworks and how they can be applied when developing a brand strategy.

  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • This workshop will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
  • Set up information will be emailed to all participants signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) the start time. -Each individual participant must have purchased a ticket

Participants must be 16 years of age or older and this workshop does not include instruction beyond the secondary school level.

Participants who complete this workshop will not receive a certificate or any other designation of completion

This workshop is not designed to prepare individuals to follow or pursue a trade, occupation or profession. It is not designed to improve, enhance, or add to the skills and abilities of an individual relative to occupational responsibilities or career opportunities.

Barbara is a 20-year agency veteran with experience across experiential, digital and social media. She has managed over 300 team members in career ranging from dancers, brand ambassadors to account team members and social media strategists. In addition to her role as a Customer Success Manager at PrizeLogic, she is an instructor at General Assembly teaching digital marketing classes.
