Blogging provides another platform not just to sell your product and/or create brand awareness but to establish yourself as an informative source in your field. This course covers the importance of a good title, captivating first and last sentences, and the necessity of proper grammar and interesting writing.
The course includes practicing good writing skills and developing a knack for editing. Students will learn an overview of proper writing, creating/locating high-quality and relevant photos, and interacting with existing and potential followers. We will introduce methods of working with relevant online influencers (bloggers and “microbloggers”), including reaching out, establishing relationships, providing product and/or compensation, and maximizing return from collaborations.
Additionally, we’ll discuss easy organizational tips for maintaining a consistent blog relevant for your readers. And since a blog needs readers, we’ll cover posting on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest), advertising your blog post to followers.
Understand importance of blogging in marketing/advertising whilst combining business demands and consumer wants.
Learn components of effective, professional blog posts and corresponding social media posts.
Learn tactics of content calendars, staying up to date with current trends, and the basics of collaborating with media influencers.
