Successful UX can be measured by it's ability to get users to behave a certain way. Whether that means adopting specific features, following a particular path in the application, or driving repeat usage, behavior design provides a framework and process to take the guesswork out of designing for behavior.
This class will provide an introduction to behavior design, and introduce students to a framework and process for designing for behavior change. We will review the leading thinking in the field, review some case studies (examples of good and bad behavior design) and ultimately workshop some of the key concepts.
