About this class

This class, in partnership with General Assembly and Intermix for ACMI, will provide students with a comprehensive overview of Information Architecture, User Experience Design and Usability that can be used in pursuit of business objectives.

User Experience, the way that people feel when they interact with technology, has quickly become a great way to differentiate your product from the competition.

Information architecture used to be all about organising information contained within websites to make things easier to find and use. Now it is also used for so much more; to search for information, make retail purchases, negotiate business transactions and communicate with others.

Usability is the ease of use and learnability of a product or service. In software engineering, usability is the degree to which a software can be used by specified consumers to achieve quantified objectives with effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction in a quantified context of use.
