Zong is a member of the CEO's office at TIAA, where he works on strategy development and strategic acquisition opportunities for the firm's various businesses.
Prior to TIAA, Zong had a variety of entrepreneurial and analytical experience, including three start-ups, brief stint at two long/short hedge funds, corporate development at McGraw-Hill Financial (Capital IQ), and tech strategy consulting at Accenture. With his first start-up, He cofounded an investment education/trading software venture, and recently advised a micro-insurance start-up in Fiji Islands. Zong received his MBA from Columbia Business School and BA from the University of Maryland.
