Dr Jingyuan set up the Asia-Pacific AI Centre of Excellence for Capgemini and lead Perform AI portfolio APAC. Her aim is to collaborate with clients to build their AI and data capabilities and deliver tangible business outcomes at scales with end-to-end AI solutions.
She is an experienced analytics and AI professional and has held leadership roles across different industries over the past 15 years, which includes A*STAR research institutes, Nielsen, SingTel, Lazada/Alibaba group and NTUC Enterprise. She brings a unique mix of experiences in data science, big data, data monetization and business strategy. Before joining Capgemini, she was SVP of NTUC group, heading the group advanced analytics center to build extensive data science capabilities for group, and shape and transform their business using data-driven strategies. In addition, she was VP of regional data science for Lazada, Alibaba group. At Lazada, she built and led data science team, working on leading techniques and business solutions to deliver innovative and scalable data products for internal business lines and external partners.
Jingyuan holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from National University of Singapore (NUS). She has been featured as a guest speaker in numerous talks and conferences in Singapore and overseas. She is teaching data science courses as an adjunct professor of NUS. She has been included in the 2021 Singapore 100 Women in Tech (SG100WIT) List.
