Yulkendy Valdez

Yulkendy Valdez is a fearless advocate for change, a dynamic educator, and co-founder and a managing partner of Project 99, a company that helps leading organizations engage and retain diverse talent through leadership programs tailored to the millennial workforce. She has received numerous fellowships by the Harvard Kennedy School, Indiana University, Resolution Project, Kairos Fellowship, and Opportunity Nation. Her corporate experience includes working with EY, Puma, Innosight Consulting, and Bank of America.

Her work extends outside of the U.S. She has traveled to over 20+ countries, some of which included implementing educational initiatives in Uganda and Rwanda. Due to her international work, she has been recognized by President Clinton and is also the proud recipient of the Latino 30 Under 30 Award by El Mundo and TJX Companies.

Media outlets such as NPR, USA Today, The Washington Post, Huffington Post, Vice Impact, have featured her. She is a thought leader and sought-after speaker in conferences such as SXSW, Ashoka, Tech Inclusion by Change Catalyst, the Haiti Tech Summit, and The Boston Tech Jam.
