Yasmin Cruz earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Babson College and is an MBA Candidate at Boston College. Currently in her ninth year at John Hancock, her responsibilities as Senior Manager, Corporate Responsibility focus on John Hancock’s community investment strategy and other strategic initiatives. Prior to her work in corporate philanthropy, Ms. Cruz served as an equity and fixed income analyst on the asset management side of the Company – working primarily on the Small Cap Intrinsic Value Fund. Ms. Cruz is heavily involved in several Boston institutions: currently, as Board Director at the Lenny Zakim Fund and City Awake; as Corporator at Eastern Bank; as Steering Committee Member at the John F. Kennedy Library & Museum; as External Relations Advisor at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; as Graduates Council Member at Noble & Greenough School; and, as Co-Chair of Young Philanthropist Initiatives at the Philanthropy Connection.
