Vivian Choy is Global Planning Director at Essence, a global data and measurement-driven media agency that is part of GroupM.
Joining Essence in Singapore as a fresh graduate in 2014, Vivian rose quickly through the ranks, gaining experience in both media planning and media activation, while managing multiple brands across APAC markets. She is the first employee at Essence in the region to take on a global planning role, overseeing a key brand with media activities in more than 60 markets, and working closely with internal teams across North America, EMEA and APAC.
Over the years, Vivian has developed specialised expertise in performance marketing, with a high level of rigour particularly in forecasting and optimisation. She also enjoys people management as she finds it meaningful to develop others, and has grown to become a strong team leader within the organisation.
In her free time, Vivian enjoys going to the gym to justify her immense love for pasta, and with travel opening up, she is looking forward to planning her next adventure overseas.
