Veronica Grow is a typography specialist and educational game changer who in 2012 founded Australia’s only School for Typography - Old School New School in order to disrupt traditional educational models by taking things back to the basics, and focussing on process and people over scores and grades.
As a design educator she focuses on tacit knowledge, and the inseparable relationship between the individual, and craft. She has taught Slow Typography at Parsons New School for Design and Typography at the Cooper Union in New York. She has worked for Global Trend Forecaster: London’s The Future Lab as Typographic consultant for Monotype (the world's largest Type Foundry), and has written about Typography and Design Education for Desktop Magazine and other mainstream media. Her School was featured at NGV’s Melbourne Now in 2013.
