Venus is currently the Digital Writer of Hong Kong Tatler. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, she spent 5 years in New York City learning the ins and outs of publishing via serial internships at Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan and New York Magazine. Her travel writing muscle was formed at her job as a lifestyle editorial assistant at Refinery29, where she came up with viral hits such as a bucket list for women traveling solo and an interview with a man who lived exclusively in Airbnbs for a year. She now flexes that muscle regularly writing up luxury travel features for Hong Kong Tatler.
Her expertise lies in creating snappy and aspirational travel stories for a millennial audience. In addition to Hong Kong Tatler and Refinery29, her work has appeared online in The Cut, Travel + Leisure and AFAR. A recent trip to Hanoi has left her a broken woman, forever craving Vietnamese food. She's currently seeking any excuse to return.
