Vanessa Lorenzo writes as Amusingmaria. She grew up in the Philippines, has lived in the US since 2003, and is currently based in the state of Virginia. She develops and features recipes, helping people with easy to cook dishes on Amusingmaria.com. She also writes about Filipino food and culture, and life as an immigrant to stay connected to her roots, and to share her Filipino heritage with the world. A case of wanderlust keeps her traveling to various locations locally and internationally. Her favorite line for every place she visits is "I can live here."
