Tristan Kerr is an renowned artist and typographic designer based in Australia.
After working in Switzerland as a print technician in a renowned screen-print studio and as a designer in Paris for several years, he discovered his passion for typography, urban art and the revival of the decorative arts movement of hand sign-painting.
Today, his independent freelance Design and Art is influenced by yesteryears street signage, urban art and nostalgic ideas. His commissions spans from
hand-painted advertisements for Penfold’s wine, murals for Redbull Music Academy to assisting illustration projects for Hermés, Paris.
Along with a formal degree in Graphic Design and apprenticeship in traditional Screen-Print, Tristan’s style and art practice has evolved through extensive experimentation and research. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Australia and throughout Europe.
