Travis Huang is a technical program manager and former data scientist with expertise in market price optimization, user acquisition (UA) modeling, and managing the entire Machine Learning Ops lifecycle. Born and raised in sunny Southern California, he joined an early stage startup called AlgoLift focused on user-level Lifetime Value (LTV) projections that was acquired by Vungle, a mobile growth company. After Vungle merged with Liftoff Mobile, he worked on developing neural network model for shading bids for first price auctions in an headerless ad exchange as a data scientist.
In his most recent role as a Technical Program Manager on the Growth Marketing Operations team at Apple, he coordinates cross-functional work between engineering, strategy, and product teams to deliver data signals and ML models to user journeys on Apple Media Products.
He holds a BS in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the USC Marshall School of Business and a MS in Business Analytics at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. His journey with General Assembly started as a student in the Data Science Immersive class and he now teaches Python and Data Science in addition to being a livestream host. In his free time he enjoys aerial photography, fostering dogs, and preparing meals for his young daughter.
