Tom Humphrey is an Investor with Blackbird Ventures, a venture capital fund supercharging Australia and New Zealand's most ambitious founders.
Prior to Blackbird, Tom was a Partner with Access Ventures based in Denver USA and spent 8 years on the founding and management teams of two successful startups. Tom was COO of OurDeal, an APAC-based "group-buying" website that 12 months from founding scaled to a team of 80 and a successful exit to News Corp. Tom was then COO of Kanopy, a B2B video streaming platform that he guided to an exit in 2018 delivering a 14x return to investors.
Tom also spent 3 years as a management consultant and received business / law degrees from the University of New South Wales and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In his spare time, you might find Tom backcountry camping with his family in a National Park somewhere!
