Tom currently works as an Innovation Manager at TAL, Australia's leading life insurer. Tom Leads cross-functional project teams within TAL to accelerate ideas to market using startup methodologies and human-centered design.
Tom is also an instructor at General Assembly. Prior to joining TAL, Tom was a freelance corporate innovation consultant to corporate and government clients. Tom worked with Fusion Labs - a leader within the Australian Corporate Innovation space. Tom has founded and exited his own startup in the accounting and finance industry and worked with 100+ businesses and startups at different stages of their journey.
Tom has 15+ years of commercial experience a Bachelor of Accounting from UniSA and considers his 5 years as a founder an unconventional MBA.
