Thy began practicing yoga over 12 years ago in Canada as a way to find calm and peace from the stresses of school and every day life. After University, she worked in advertising for a local newspaper, but her love affair with yoga continued as she was the token "yogi" at the office, doing stretches at her desk and ducking out at lunch to attend yoga classes across the road from the office.
After a few years of practice and 2 yoga teacher trainings under her belt, she took a leap of faith and went into teaching yoga full time. 6 years later, she has ticked off a few more yoga trainings off her list, moved to Sydney for love, hosted numerous yoga workshops and retreats, is now the proud owner and director of her very own yoga studio, Modo Yoga Sydney. Her greatest hope is that students carry their positive energy from practice off their mats and into their daily lives.
