Tanya Menzel joined the HKUST MBA/MSc Career and Professional Development Team in April 2016 as Assistant Director, Career and Professional Development - Experienced Professionals and Alumni. Tanya’s responsibilities encompass student mapping, corporate development, stakeholder management, and career and executive coaching. A large part of her role is focused around CV writing.
Originally from Australia, Tanya worked in the UK and the Middle East before moving to Hong Kong in 2006. She established her own Learning & Development consultancy firm before transitioning to higher education. A double degree in Communications and International Human Resource Management is augmented by a wealth of international experience in learning and development, executive support and communications. Her approach is all about energy, building relationships and saying ‘yes’ to opportunities.
In addition to her work with HKUST, Tanya runs the Australian Chamber of Commerce Mentor Porgramme, and is a White Collar Boxing winner.
