Born and raised in Japan, Suzuko graduated from San Jose State University
in 2004 with a B.S. in industrial design. She is a senior industrial
designer at Formation Design Group, a product innovation consultancy in
Atlanta. Over the years, she has worked on a wide range of projects, from
packaging to aircraft interiors.
Her design philosophy centers on allowing design to fit beautifully and
simply in a given environment. Design's ability to make meaningful changes
to our world is a passionate belief that permeates through her life and
work. She also a partner in Wake Up Dear. a design collaboration with
Gavin Bernard. Wake Up Dear's ODO lighting was exhibited in "Best of
America" at MA Design is Human 2014.
