Susan Teschner, a native New Yorker, never imagined her degree in Political Science would take her to work in the digital space in the United States, Israel and Australia.
With experience in start-ups, digital divisions of large corporates and everything in between, Susan believes in both the art and science of managing products. Utilizing design thinking, evidence based decision-making and a customer centric approach, Susan has built highly collaborative and creative teams for industry leaders such as SEEK, Fairfax Digital, MYOB, Australia Post and currently 99designs, the world’s largest marketplace for graphic design.
Having managed products and teams of Product Managers, Susan’s found that straying too far from either the ‘thinking’ or the ‘doing’ doesn’t inspire her. She’s happiest getting close to customers, understanding their challenges and delivering amazing solutions, as well as helping to develop the next generation to do the same.
