Summer Whitford is the Founder of The Food and Wine Diva, and her raison d'être is fueled by food memories of a childhood spent in France. After earning a degree in International Affairs, she followed her heart into the kitchen and worked in hospitality as a chef, manager, educator, and wine specialist. The culmination of 10 years in the trenches, she opened Chez Vous, a successful food specialty and event business she ran with her husband for 15 years.
Summer is author of Join Us At The Embassy, a book about gastronomy in 10 countries and was the Senior Writer for World Class Cuisine, a cooking/travel show on Discovery Channel syndicated in 72 countries. Her company provides hospitality businesses the recipe for success by offering branding, marketing, and business management services. When not tending her flowers or vegetable garden, Summer actively volunteers in the urban farming movement.
