Steve is Director of Physical Product at SOLS, makers of mass-customized, 3D printed insoles and orthotics. He has worked on a wide variety of projects, ranging from mascara brushes to surgical tools to a tech-inspired carnival of lasers, fire, and games aimed at getting kids interested in STEM education. He has an MFA in Interaction Design from SVA and a BID in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute, where he is also a faculty member. Steve has been working with embedded digital technology in a product design context for over a decade and obsesses over the intersection between digital tech and physical objects. He is also writing a book to help Industrial Designers better understand 3D Computational Geometry.
