Stephanie Valadez is the Managing Director, Dallas of Per Scholas, a national nonprofit that prepares motivated and curious adults for successful careers in technology and creates onramps to businesses in need of their talents.

She oversees market-driven training program operations, strategy and fund development. In 2018, Per Scholas Dallas prepared over 400 students to launch a career in tech through their rigorous 10 to 15-week training courses. She has been instrumental in recent projects including site expansion, building out a local advisory board, deepening the Per Scholas footprint in the Dallas market and the introduction of new training tracks to include software engineering and cybersecurity in 2020.

Valadez serves on the Mayor’s Advisory Council for the City of Carrollton and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ Pathways to Work Advisory Group.

Prior to Per Scholas, Valadez led diversity recruitment and a workforce development program for nonprofit North Texas LEAD, closely partnering with locally-based Fortune 500 companies. Early in her career, she was a recruiter for a large global HR service provider and a multinational market research firm.

Stephanie earned her B.A. in Mass Communication from Texas State University. As a Dallas-area native, she returned to her hometown after college where she now resides with her husband and two young children. In her downtime, she enjoys working out at F45 daily and is a contributing food blogger.
