Los Angeles
Steph is the event specialist for General Assembly Los Angeles. She has overseen all of its events including panels, mixers, fireside chats and meetups to bring various networks of the tech community together, ranging from web developers, entrepreneurs and designers to authors and fighters in the MMA community (no, really). She initially joined GA to contribute her background in producing, creative directing and operations management for companies such as Apple and Sony, but the top brass realized she was a compulsive talker at heart who kept asking too many questions about the who/what/when/where/how/whys of tech and finally decided to let her be the talking head that she was probably always meant to be. When she's not organizing events serving the bustling Silicon Beach tech community for General Assembly, she spends her time training in Muay Thai and boxing, cracking jokes at the wrong time and place, and finding creative ways to keep enabling people to learn from one another.
