From working for the Grammy Awards to being a congero in a Latin Band in Hollywood, the music entreprenuer has tons of stories to tell. When he decided to move to Hollywood to pursue a music career, little did he know his love for music would consume him to try just about everything.
In the 8 years in California, Stefan has worked in companies like Universal Music, Live Nation, The Grammy Foundation, Hit The Ground Running (Music Supervision for popular TV shows like CSI, Entourage, Everybody Hates Chris, The Cleaner) and Secret Road (Music licensing for commercials, TV and Movie trailers, representing artists like Ingrid Michaelson and Rachel Yamagata). He also split his time between booking college shows and artist management for singer songwriters in Los Angeles.
He also got a taste of the Silicon Valley tech life working in San Francisco for a startup that eventually led to his passion for mobile tech as well. After spending years in California, he decided to return to Asia as he saw the unprecedented growth in the live music scene and had a vision to enhance the concert going experiences of fans. With the tech experience he garnered in the tech sector, coupled with a myriad of music business skills, he built GigOut, a live music community startup to fill a gap in the industry. The startup has hit major milestones to date with partnerships with concert promoters and most recently, partnering with mobile giant Samsung, in which the GigOut app is preloaded in several mobile devices in Singapore.
Stefan is also a drummer with Singapore band, The Quartermasters.
