After piecing together her favorite memories of a powerful social justice class in high school, a socially-minded t-shirt club in college, and a design-based international development experience as a young professional, Stacy got serious about design for social impact. Deep diving into Northwestern's Master's in Engineering Design and Innovation program gave her the design fundamentals to create innovative products, services, and interactions for clients like P&G, Samsung, and Chicago's Benevolent.net. Now at Design for America, she gets to design for and teach the 800+ students members; empowering the next generation of innovators and creating impact in communities nationwide. After work, you can find her taking sewing classes, running by the lake, and playing with her niece and nephew.
