Spencer is originally from Wisconsin in the United States but has called Glasgow home for the last three years. He entered the data world through the lens of geographic information systems(GIS) and started learning python and eventually enrolled in GA’s data science immersive course in the autumn of 2020. Upon the successful completion of his course, he helped lead subsequent cohorts as a teaching assistant. Following this experience, he havs worked at AXA UK. as both a data analyst and a junior data scientist in their commercial insurance group.
