Shaniyya Pinckney known socially as "Niyya Tenee" is a plant enthusiast and community organizer with a commitment to public service. Through various campaigns Niyya has coordinated over 20 successful community events including small workshops of 10 people and vendor exhibits of over 400 guests. Niyya's fundraising efforts have raised over $15,000 in support of emerging community initiatives. Her social media campaign for Locs Revolution has gained her recognition from ESSENCE online, Clutch and Huffington Post. Her newest project is The Bloom Journey where she explores a love of horticulture as a form of radical self love and civil resistance.
