Austin
Shahzad Khan is an educator and a technical product consultant in Austin, Texas. As a Lead Software Engineering Immersive Instructor, he aims at building and enriching mental models for Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Programming paradigms. He believes that anyone can learn anything within the appropriate context, and he specializes in curating contexts that allow people to engage in learning.
As a member of GA’s Product Advisory Board, he gets to collaborate with seasoned educators in guiding the curriculum to meet current market needs.
He is passionate about philosophy, technology education, accessibility, data-driven solutions, and product management. Shahzad has been a part of GA’s ecosystem for over three years and has led instruction for both, B2C and B2B (Enterprise) cohorts.
Outside of GA, he serves on the Board of Directors at Sympara, a national non-profit organization that helps build sustainable communities. Currently, at Sympara, he has directed the development of a digital asset mapping application that helps communities find resources to solve specific problems. He is also the owner of Frame of Mind, a technical product consulting and engineering services company based in Austin, Texas.
