Sebastian Alarcon is a Business Intelligence and Data Science Consultant. He received a B.S. degree in Hospitality from Blue Mountains Hotel School and a M.S. in Business Analytics from Deakin University. Prior to becoming a Data Scientist, he spent several years working in the hotel management industry. In 2014, Alarcon launched a predictive analytics start-up which led into strategic programs and consultancies in Australia and Latin America.
His work concentrates in applied data science strategies within Market Demand Predictions, Vulnerability Analysis, Data Migration and Process Automation across different industries, including Marketing, Fintech and Tourism. His overarching theme of work is exploring daily life behaviours and human interaction through the lenses of data science.
