Sarah is a Senior Conference Programmer at SXSW, an event that brings together more than 70,000 industry creatives from across the United States and around the world, scheduled for March 13-22, 2020 in Austin. These creatives are inspired by nine days of panels, presentations, brainstorming, networking, deal-making, socializing, creating, innovating, and fun.

At SXSW, Sarah leads a team in curating Keynotes and Featured Speakers who are the center of the SXSW Conference and exemplify the spirit, ingenuity, and entrepreneurial drive that SXSW cultivates. She manages logistics for these 350+ high profile speakers including national-level political leaders, military generals, CEOs, rock stars, musicians, actors, and thought leaders and produces 150+ sessions on the largest stages during the nine-day conference.

Prior to SXSW, Sarah served as Community Director at the Chicago chapter of the March of Dimes, a national non-profit leading the fight for the health of all moms and babies, breaking fundraising records at the three city-wide special events she managed. She has over ten years of extensive experience managing VIPs and has been consistently recognized for delivering an outstanding level of customer service while planning corporate, social, and fundraising events for an events agency, full-service luxury hotels, and a national non-profit.

Sarah is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. She enjoys climbing at any of Austin's great climbing gyms and going for hikes on the greenbelt with her dog.
