Sarah Eastman most recently worked as a Senior Engineer for The Washington Post on the Big Data and Personalization team, where she designed, built and maintains a complex model of customer behavior, the first in its kind in Washington Post history. Previously, she designed a revenue data management process for reporting company revenue to the Chairman of the Board and other members of executive management. Sarah is experienced in SQL, Hadoop, HiveQL, EMR, AWS and lots of other acronyms. She graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics. A city mouse at heart, she lives, reluctantly, in the D.C. suburbs with her husband and son.
