Sarah Doherty is an engineer and entrepreneur devoted to eliminating the world’s healthcare access crisis. She is Co-Founder and CTO of TeleHealthRobotics (THR) which has created the world’s first robotically-enabled telemedicine platform. Providers stationed anywhere in the world can use THR's software on their computer to deliver crucial diagnostic services like ultrasound to patients stationed remotely with the THR kiosk.
Sarah is passionate about increasing global well-being and growing the number of people, especially women and girls, educated and working in STEM, entrepreneurship, and healthcare. She provides thought leadership and mentorship to these ends through several national and international organizations including the American Heart Association, XX in Health, the World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum. Sarah and her work have been featured in the Financial Times, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Huffington Post, Chicago Tribune, and TEDMED among other mediums. She is an alum of the University of Pennsylvania where she studied Biomedical Engineering and Entrepreneurship.
