Sarah Chen

Named Forbes 30 Under 30, Sarah is currently Principal at Fedtech, where she focuses on bridging the gap between venture and deep tech, inspired to commercialize great innovation developed across DoD, NASA, DoE and other laboratories. She is also Co-Founder of The Billion Dollar Fund for Women, a global consortium of venture funds that have now pledged $1Bn towards women-founded companies.
Prior to these roles, she pioneered a corporate venture capital unit within $13Bn publicly traded Asian conglomerate, Sime Darby, investing in later-stage biotechnology companies. She also serves on boards at the intersection of tech, venture and women in leadership, serving as Advisor at Gobi Partners, one of the largest venture capital funds in Southeast Asia, and on multiple boards including Lean In Malaysia and 131 & Counting. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Laws, LL.B (Hons.) from King’s College London.
