Santosh Subramanyam is a digital product experience strategist and a designer with over 17 years of experience developing, evangelizing and driving innovation in UX strategies and designs across organizations. He’s worked with many Internationally prominent brands such as Marriott, GE, Macys, Progressive, NovoNordisk, and ING. Santosh digs deep into user research, data and behavior to define experiences be relevant to the users everywhere. He works in the digital space that concentrates on web, mobile and global approach working with cross product teams and with regional heads to uncover the complexity behind products that fulfill global and locale specific user and business needs.

Santosh has worked across a wide range of industries and platforms, from start-ups to long-established companies, with small budgets to large, ensuring that the products and services are not merely usable, but also useful, desirable, engaging, valuable, accessible, and enticing. The secret of his success comes from not merely considering the design principles, but from taking a holistic service design perspective, empathy towards users and cultures by applying the most appropriate user-centered design thinking techniques to identify the issues and quickly innovate and create an optimal experience.

Outside of work and teaching, you can find him composing music, speaking at a conference or a meet-up group, sweating out in the gym, playing with his son or churning out some healthy vegan treats.
