Safi is Co-Founder and CEO of Cognitiks, a technology firm assisting businesses in high-risk markets to mitigate social & political risks to operations whilst driving sustainable growth and contributing to addressing our world’s most pressing challenges.
Prior to founding Cognitiks, Safi spent 15 years working with private companies and with UN agencies, the World Bank, European Commission, United States Institute of Peace and TrustWorks Global in high-risk markets/ fragile states including Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, India, Afghanistan and Somalia.
Safi has a PhD in Social Policy and a BSc in Social and Economic Geography from Kings’ College London and a Masters (LLM) in International Human Rights Law from Oxford University.
