Inspired to share a sustainable food gospel while combatting the Seattle freeze, Ryan and his wife launched Salut in 2013 and was soon selling out 10-15 course plated popup dinners with drink pairings within minutes, earning five star Yelp reviews and a write up in the Sur la Table blog. He now collaborates with other area chefs and producers and with each new menu pushes himself to reimagine what can be done with food.
Ryan has spent ten years in marketing and digital storytelling and as a producer and creative director in experiential advertising and now works on experimental initiatives and new media at Microsoft.
