Ryan Gurney
VP of Security, Zendesk

Ryan is VP of Security at Zendesk, and leads the company’s products and corporate security program. Ryan's team works closely with Engineering to build effective security controls, and aligns with Zendesk's Product, Sales and Marketing Teams to develop new product security features. Ryan also heads up security compliance, and through this effort, saw Zendesk achieve SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification, and a successful IPO in 2014. He is a member of the Zendesk management team and audit committee. Prior to Zendesk, Ryan served as the director of IT, Security and Compliance at Engine Yard and led a dedicated Security Engineering team at eBay.
