Ryan's journey to Silicon Valley began in Queensland in 2003 where he was developing Front-End applications for various web projects for organisations such as Griffith University and Queensland Police Service as well as co-founding Seventh Vision in 2005 and creating Pet Friendly Rentals to help pet owners find rental properties.
Whilst working as the Front End Development Tech Lead for Flight Centre Ltd, Ryan got the call to join U.S eCommerce giant Williams-Sanoma as a Javascript Applications Developer in San Francisco. After teaching a 12 week iOS Bootcamp to the Web Development organization, his demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills saw him become their Head of Technical Learning and Development.
Ryan is now back in Australia and can often be seen sharing his passion for user experience design, solid software architecture and test driven development, inspiring those around him to become better developers.
