In 2014, Ruthie decided to leave the animated film industry for a career in tech. She worked on CRM systems and consumer-facing web products at two start-ups before attending General Assembly's UXDI program in the summer of 2019. Last October, she finally landed a design role at Adlumin, a cybersecurity start-up here in DC, where she is currently unifying the UI and creating a design system for the company's flagship SEIM application.
