Ruth is a user researcher, UX consultant and UX team coach with over 14 years of generalist experience within the digital arena. As an independent UX practitioner, she has worked with a diverse mix of clients ranging from local SMEs and regional startups across the tech, media, retail, F&B, and human capital industries.

Since July 2016, she has been embedded in a global mining company with over 60,000 employees, helping to introduce user-centered design into their business process flows, as well as to establish an internal distributed UX team. Her daily mission? To answer the leadership's question: How can we make things easier for our end-users, the real people doing work around the company?

Ruth is an active volunteer with UX Singapore. She is also part of her church's IT Ministry helping to drive user research so technology can be leveraged to design a better congregation and community experience. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and meeting fellow UX-ers in the countries she visits.
