Ruoran is a Data Scientist at Aginic, where he uses his data-science skills and business acumen to help organisations better understand their data and leverage those insights to improve business outcomes.
Previously, he worked as a process engineer in the Queensland coal mining industry, where he used data everyday to monitor and improve plant performance. There he fell in love with solving problems using data, this combined with his desire to code, lead him to pursue a career in data science.
Ruoran recently completed the Data Science Immersive course at General Assembly, which provided him with the opportunity to transition into the exciting field of data science and analytics. He is looking forward to learning as much as he can about data science, so he can become an expert in his chosen career.
