Rick Whitney currently works as a Senior Product Manager at IndigoAg, an agricultural technology company focused on sustainability, farmer profitability and consumer health. Indigo was ranked #1 on the CNBC 2019 Disruptor 50 list and #22 on Fast Companies’ 2020 Most Innovative Companies List. He was a graduate student at Harvard University’s Extension School, where he focused his studies on food systems and climate change, and had previously interned at Ceres, a Boston-based sustainability non-profit. With 20 years’ experience in digital products and technology, Rick is interested in exploring the intersection of technology and agriculture, and how modern and traditional food production techniques can work together to create a resilient food system.
