Rick Behl

Rick Behl has been developing and working with software since his early school days. After graduating with honors in the United Kingdom with a degree in Artificial Intelligence he worked his way up from writing assembly code for airline departure control systems to the development of equity trading applications on the trading floors of some of the most well-known investment banks.

Working within the finance field brought Rick to Hong Kong where he spent 8 years moving from writing front-office software to the actual trading of equities across the region. Now he has moved on from the world of finance and is currently running an e-commerce business sourcing products from Asia to distribute to the other parts of the world.

As a true computer geek from an early age Rick has maintained a passion for software development and has been following the progress of the Meteor platform for the last few years. He is one of the active co-organizers of the Meteor Singapore Meetup group and liaises closely with the Meteor Development Group for co-ordination of special events and Hackathons.
