    Founder, This Way Up

    London

Rebecca Rowntree is a Creative Director who loves nothing more than to problem solve for brands. However, she noticed an even bigger problem within the advertising industry itself.

She grew frustrated at the lack of diverse voices and role models in this industry. She was continually trying to look up for guidance, someone to relate to, but these role models seemed few and far between.

She felt she had to try and address it and started to ask this rare group of leading people honest questions about their career. The good, the bad and the ugly. Low and behold, they all had amazing powerful stories to tell. Stories of struggle, stories of empowerment and stories about finding their voice.

She decided to start to bring these voices together for others to learn to from through podcasts and events. She believes that it's by sharing personal frank stories that we can collectively support each other, making us the best individuals we can be.

It’s those valuable insights that make the journey a little less hard and ultimately help us find our way up.
