A 7x Founder, Rebecca has been fortunate to find meaning and purpose in each professional endeavor since beginning her career in 2002. Her first company began by accident when her internship did not beget a full-time offer. In an effort to pay her NYC bills, she began freelancing, found her groove, and parlayed this into a company. When she sold in 2010, she had grown Tribecca Designs into an award-winning bicoastal design firm. Along the way, she founded a graphic design trade organization called Spark, a children’s literacy non-profit called Books that Build. In 2009 she fell in love with coworking, originally to build a home for Tribecca Designs, and cofounded NextSpace, an early leader in the coworking world. In 2014 she left NextSpace to launch Covo, a coworking company wrapped around a coffee shop, bar, and event space, that is leveling the playing field for women and minorities.
