Rebecca leads a talented team of UX Architects as Head of User Experience at News Corp Australia, crafting engaging digital experiences for Australians. She kicked off her career 17 years ago as an Interaction Designer, where she first cultivated her passion for Design Thinking. The draw was its power to democratise ‘good ideas’, which soon evolved to focus on the ultimate source of good ideas and innovation - user behaviour!

Her human-centred approach to design and insatiable hunt to collect new UX methodologies has seen her practice in wide range of environments including agency, not-for-profit, start-up and corporate. Working with sole traders and international conglomerates alike, she deeply advocates the importance of scoping design and UX practices that will return the richest results within the constraints of that environment.

When she’s not running usability testing or evangelising the benefits of user insights, she’s hunting down the ultimate coffee and perhaps indulging in a little cross-stitch.
