Raymond was born in Davao, Philippines, grew up in San Jose, California, and moved to New York in 2012 to pursue his passion for visual storytelling through photography and film. While attending St. John’s University as a TV & Film student, he honed his technique as a cameraman for ESPN, wandered his way into the tech startup industry of NYC as a content creator and media consultant and networked a client list of publications, small businesses, and brands. Raymond’s love for the New York hustle kept him in Manhattan after he graduated in 2014, and he has since expanded his resume to include event curation, education, health and wellness. Raymond’s life exists at the intersection of creativity and holistic wellness, so when he cofounded Make Waves, he sought to build a community of creatives and wellness professionals who support, inspire, and educate.
