Rachel joined General Assembly in 2016, where she has since served as a Data Analytics instructor and mentor, allowing her to apply her 12+ years of industry experience and her passion for data, analytics and education. Rachel has built her career working at the intersection of technology and business at different tech companies in Austin, TX. She has held various engineering, operations, and analytics roles where she has helped to provide data-driven solutions to complex business challenges. Rachel has both B.S. and M.S. engineering degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.
When not working, Rachel enjoys grabbing brunch on a nice outdoor patio with friends or catching a local comedy show at one of the many great theaters in town.
In recognition of her exemplary service in the classroom as a Data Analytics instructor, Rachel has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.
