Quratul-Ann Malik founded herDomain in 2017 after working at the White House National Economic Council. From 2014-2016, she implemented a policy initiative called TechHire, designed to increase American labor force participation in the technology sector. She began her organization soon after to expand opportunity in the tech sector to people looking for social and economic mobility in other parts of the world. Today, herDomain mobilizes an underutilized part of the labor force by providing tech training and job-placement opportunities to women in Pakistan.
